hope everyone had a happy weekend!  i got to spend it with my sister, who is still here until weds, so i'll keep this post short and sweet.  just wanted to give you guys some more sneak peeks of some of our new fall crochet goodies that my sis made....aren't they amazeballs?!?  she is SO talented...i seriously want to keep everything for myself;)

so when our piece came i was in heaven.  it was the perfect cream lace and chiffon dress...AND since this in the one year anniversary i decided to do TWO different looks with my piece!  kelly's only request was she wanted it to be glam...so i did a classic glam look and then a fun edgy glam look!  i love mixing up pieces to create totally different looks...and now for pictures galore!!!

you know you were singing it too.  seriously 90s summer hits on pandora is making my life so happy right now.  i mean, ace of base, goo goo dolls, spice girls...how can you not smile listening to that??  

plus life was so easy then.  being a grown up is hard work friends.  sometimes i long for the days of no text messages, no annoying bills, no instagram to show what i had at starbucks...the days when i wore plaid skirts with knee socks to be like cher from clueless, when contempo casual was still a store, when i would be on the endless search for the perfect dr. martens and i would ride my bike with barbie and friends in the front basket.  when you wrote notes to your friends during class and your biggest problem was what to wear on picture day.  oh yeah...and i could eat whatever i want and it didn't matter...can i have those days back please?

every time i wear this cardi i think of michael jackson in thriller...which makes me think of jennifer garner in 13 going on 30...which makes me want to act like a grown up child...oh wait...

anyways...it's monday...blah...BUT this is SISTER WEEK!!!  laur will be here on thurs, with her new bf, so it will be an awesomely awkward week when they're here and i can't wait!!!  

also i started doing yoga this weekend...and i had no clue how sore it would make me.  i feel like i'm 30 going on 87...which is also how i felt when J and i went and saw Red 2 this weekend...great movie if you're a senior citizen...and speaking of red...how about the sparkle shoulders on this cardi...kinda makes you think of michael jackson...in thriller...and i'm done.

We currently live in upstate NY. My husband is in the army and I'm a stay at home wife and mommy :)

you guys it's friday...but that is not why i am happy.  i am happy because i finally got the perfect twirl pic!!  i mean hello, is it not amazeballs?!?  oh the little things that make me smile.

i am also happy because in less than two weeks my little sister will be here visiting!  we're planning on getting tats when she's home and i still haven't decided what i want yet...eeekkk!!  

i am also happy because palazzo pants are back and that's basically like wearing pjs in public, but not actually wearing pjs in public.  i just got the most obnoxious pair and i can't wait to show them to you!!  they are gone with the wind fabulous....now twirl!
