pleated pastels...

You guys...tomorrow is december...like how did this happen?  I mean, I'm not mad because december is the best month ever, but like seriously, where did this year go?  It's so crazy...and even more crazy because it's still so freaking warm in texas...like can I just get a snow day already?

While I keep waiting for that day to come, I'm just rockin' skirts and sweaters...since I'm kinda tired of shorts and sweaters.  And fun fact, I got this super adorbs, mint pleated skirt for $10 at a local boutique and while most people are slaves to all black everything in the winter, I've been feeling some pops of pastels lately so this skirt was the perfect purchase!  And because it is super girly I added my fave combat boots because you always have to add that little something that makes people think...hmmmm...pleated skirt and combat boots...I like it...

no pants party...

I've never been much of a pants girl...which I know sounds kinda weird, but I've always loved skirts and dresses and am rarely in jeans, but when I saw these chiffon coral flowy pants from anthro I just had to have them.  From far away they almost look like a maxi skirt, but up close they are the coolest wide leg pants with side slits and are the perfect compromise for a girl that is team #nopantsparty!  And even though the color of these too cool pants is a statement enough, I love them paired with this deep plum sweater!  They are two colors that most people would never think to put together, but that is what makes them so right!  And the whole look is tied together with my new mrd ronnie turband, which is available now in the shop!!

BHM...

So this week marks 5 years that I've lived in San Antonio...and what's crazy is that there are all these little towns surrounding SA and I've literally never been to them!  So when I was invited by the lovely ladies who started the Boerne Handmade Market, I was not only excited to check out some handmade goodies, but to also see a part of Texas that I haven't been too...and Boerne was just too cute!  I think the main thing that stood out was that it actually seemed like fall there.  Like the leaves were different colors, which to normal non San Antonio's is like, well no shit it's fall, but in SA you don't see trees change color...which makes me want to cry...so it was a nice surprise to see colorful trees as we drove into town.

And I seriously could have spent so much money on all the goodness that was there, but had to limit myself to a few things..I got the cutest dog mom tee, a gorgeous full moon floral print, and the prettiest moonstone necklace...all for me!!  My intention was to start xmas shopping, but sometimes you just need to buy yourself some pressies, right?

gypsy fortune teller...

This weekend was a weird one.  Part of that was because it's November and it was in the 90s...and it was super foggy in the morning leaving a creepy haze over the whole sky.  Honestly I felt like I was in the Upside Down...and if you don't know what that means just stop reading because we can't be friends.  And then there was the time change which will probably take me a whole month to get used to.  I was ready for bed at like 6:30 last night.  And there was a full moon...which as we all know makes everyone and everything a little cray.

And speaking of moons...I'm obsessing over my new mrd celestial turband which is available now in the shop!  It makes me sooooo happy that stars and moons are everywhere this fall and holiday season because they are my faves!!  And paired with this super cozy sweater and lace shorts I kind of feel like a modern day gypsy fortune teller and I think the future is looking bright!
