Happy Valentine's Day pretties!!!  I hope you guys have a day full of love!  That can mean 50 gorgeous long stem roses like I came home to last night...or eating two donuts for breakfast instead of one...which I may do today as well because it is a holiday after all!  So J and I did a mini celebration last night because he works today, but I made sure to get him the best gift...

 Well pretties...it's Monday...and I somehow managed to watch an entire football game, like I actually watched it, and get through the latest episode of This Is Us last night and

 I've never been much of a pants girl...which I know sounds kinda weird, but I've always loved skirts and dresses and am rarely in jeans, but when I saw these chiffon coral flowy pants from anthro I just had to have them.  From far away they almost look like a maxi skirt, but up close they are the coolest wide leg pants with side slits and are the perfect compromise for a girl that is team #nopantsparty!  And even though the color of these too cool pants is a statement enough, I love them paired with this deep plum sweater!  They are two colors that most people would never think to put together, but that is what makes them so right!  And the whole look is tied together with my new mrd ronnie turband, which is available now in the shop!!

  after stepping outside today, i came to the realization that i may need to start getting more creative with my hair.  usually i always wear it down and wavy, but the fact that it's already this warm so early in the year means once summer hits my hair is most definitely not going to be lovely...probably just flat and blah....

so i'm trying to come up with some fun ways to wear it and today lots of braids was the answer..and why not add some crazy patterns...just mixin' it up!
