Ok...so these pics are obvi kinda old since my hair is still kinda long and has my pink piece...which i need to touch up by the way...but I was going through pics to see what I could put on canvas for our new apt and realized I never posted these and we can't let a cute casual outfit go to waste right?  I would also like to say that I miss dressing up.  J and I rarely have time together and when we do neither of us feels like going out...this is what happens when you get old..."hey honey, want to order pizza and watch a movie?  oookkkk"...yep this is my life.  anyways...since we don't go out much I don't have much of a reason to get all dressy and when I do get dressy at work that ends up being the day we get like 27 boxes of new clothes in and I'm running around like a crazy person wondering why I ever thought it was a good idea to wear wedges to work.  

Did you get all of that?  Good.  So basically I have been a bit more casual lately.  I literally live in these boyfriend jeans...so comfy!  And can we talk about how cute these man shoes are?  OH...and my scarf has ellies on it.  I know you can't really tell, but trust me...they are there!  Woot!

So I started up my blog with the best intentions of blogging more than once a week...yet here we are...a week later.  Except this time it's totes not my fault.  Apparently any little storm in TX makes the electricity go out...it's so dumb...and so annoying...and it fried my interwebs connector box thingy so I've been without the interwebs since last fri...and the best part...they can't come to fix it until next weds...no not today...the following weds.  Big.Fat.Fail.

So I'm sneaking over to the parentals to steal their interwebs because honestly I can't live without it.  It's a little sad actually...I mean how am I expected to go a whole day without checking instagram or stalking someone on FB? Perhaps this week will make me a little more zen and in tune with things that matter...like my husband and my dog...or it'll just make me crazier because when I'm bored at night and want to start pinning new apt ideas I can't....poop.

Good news is, being at the parentals forces me to take more outfit pics...plus they have more foods than we do at my place...hooray!!

miss me much?  seriously it's been one thing after the other ever since we moved.  i still have no car, but that's a story for another day...lets talk about my lame laptop with it's missing buttons and half the screen almost falling off.  i was on said laptop one night and tripped over the already fraying power cord and it broke...like for real...so there goes the laptop.  luckily my sis was looking to get a new computer so she sold me her macbook, at a special sister price, but that took like a week to get.  so i finally get back up and running and then i realized most of my recent pics are still on the old laptop so until i can borrow my mom's charger the blog might be a little sparse on pics.  

so now that you're all bored with tech talk, lets talk about my ELLIE DRESS!!!  i am obsessed with elephants aka ellie's.  everything i see that has an ellie, i want to buy...and i might actually do just that...shhhh don't tell!  so when i saw this dress and then realized it was literally like a little girl dress in big girl size (and we all know how i feel about that) i knew it had to be mine!  plus you could eat like an entire elephant and no one would know because it's so big and flowy and amazeballs!
