sporty spice...

So I was never a "sporty" kind of girl.  I'm not super athletic, I'm not a big fan of teams, but if there is one thing I can get behind it's a varsity bomber jacket.  This mustard cutie is pretty much perfect, but honestly if it had a monogram varsity letter "M" on the front I would be in heaven...but I will have to settle for some pretty embroidery.  I feel like it's giving off total 70s vibes mixed with everything that is current today which is why I love it.  And pairing it with a simple grey tank dress and velvet tennies (bc pink sneakers is about as sporty as I can get), I feel ready to cheer on my fave team...you know, if I was into that kind of thing.

hats off...

You know how there are those girls that are like human hangers and can put on anything and it just fits them perfectly?  Well that is me...except with hats.  And I'm not trying to be super braggy (is that even a word)...and trust me you'll know when I'm bring super braggy...but my head is just really perfect...for hats people, get your mind out of the gutter.  Literally I can put on any hat and it just works.   Sometimes I'll try on the most ugly obnoxious one just to prove myself wrong and then I find myself buying said hat because it just looks like it was meant to be on my head.

And now that it's kinda sorta fall I can finally embrace my hat love.  The best part about this new peacock blue one...it was only $10 at urban outfitters and while this one is sold out online they have a bunch of amazing different ones to go with all of your fave fall looks!  And speaking of fall looks how perfect is this horribly ugly mustard pea green baby poo poncho cape thing?  It's definitely one of those weird colors that you look at and think no one could look good in that color...yet again...somehow it works.  I think mixing it with other colors that belong in the bold crayola marker box is what does the trick.  Plus wearing it gives you baby t-rex arms so obviously it's a win win!
