tie dye and ponchos...

I think deep down I'm a total flower child.  A free spirited hippie...but like a tie dye, flowy dress, flower crown wearing hippie...not a dirty hair, patchouli smelling, no job kind of hippie...not that there is anything wrong with that...I just really like my hair clean.  So any time I see something tie dye it basically has to be mine.  I just can't get enough.  And while this dress is perfect for a Texas fall, winter is coming so I need a little layer action, which is why this cowl neck poncho is the perfect piece to throw on when it gets a bit breezy out.  Also these pics are kinda blurry now that I'm looking at them.  I blame this on the hill I live on that causes crazy wind gusts on the days that I take pics...it's like nature is out to get me...such a brat!

hats off...

You know how there are those girls that are like human hangers and can put on anything and it just fits them perfectly?  Well that is me...except with hats.  And I'm not trying to be super braggy (is that even a word)...and trust me you'll know when I'm bring super braggy...but my head is just really perfect...for hats people, get your mind out of the gutter.  Literally I can put on any hat and it just works.   Sometimes I'll try on the most ugly obnoxious one just to prove myself wrong and then I find myself buying said hat because it just looks like it was meant to be on my head.

And now that it's kinda sorta fall I can finally embrace my hat love.  The best part about this new peacock blue one...it was only $10 at urban outfitters and while this one is sold out online they have a bunch of amazing different ones to go with all of your fave fall looks!  And speaking of fall looks how perfect is this horribly ugly mustard pea green baby poo poncho cape thing?  It's definitely one of those weird colors that you look at and think no one could look good in that color...yet again...somehow it works.  I think mixing it with other colors that belong in the bold crayola marker box is what does the trick.  Plus wearing it gives you baby t-rex arms so obviously it's a win win!
