first i was lucky enough to make a headband for suri cruise.
and my lucky streak continues because i just shipped out two custom mrd pretties for 



when i found out about this one i was freaking out!!!
lc was always my fave on laguna beach...
and don't even get me started on the hills...
seriously i could watch that show over and over again...
sometimes i practice my blank stare in the mirror just in case i am ever on a faux reality
show like the hills...
seriously they were all so good at those long stares...totes crazy!

i also like the play the song "unwritten" in my car and pretend i'm being filmed while driving with my hair blowing in the wind and my oversized sunglasses on...
shut up...you know you do it too;)

so i needed to make something special for lauren...
i was super excited to try out something new with this awesome textured leather that i had in pretty pastel shades....i embellished it with a little sparkle and ta da...
an mrd fit for lc




i made a similar one for myself since it was just too cute!!
and at the last minute i decided to throw in a signature mrd flower so i made a smaller black one with a taupe polka dot chiffon center and put in on this super pretty champagne lace.
soooo pretty!!!



fingers crossed that this is just the beginning of custom mrd's for pretty celebs:)

don't quit your day job

i think since i started working at a shoe store at the young age of 15, i've had more than one job at a time.
i don't know what it is, but i like doing lots of things at once.
maybe it's because i get bored easily and having multiple jobs keeps things interesting...
so while i would love to just sit around and make headbands all day long and have
mila rose designs as my only job
i'm not quite at the point where i'm making millions yet...
which means i can't quit my "day job" 

but why would i want to?  
i work at an amazing boutique called
fuschia....
AND if you follow me on facebook you will see that part of my job is to be the "look of the week" model...
you will also notice that i make them pick outfits with sleeves bc i hate my fat arms lol...don't judge...
so today i thought i would share with you some of my fave looks so far!

classic

my sister requested a black & white turband yesterday...
i know big news huh lol!

so anyways....
that led me on a treasure hunt to find some black and white in my 
mountain of fabrics.
while searching for said fabrics, i realized that i have a little problem...
ok a BIG problem...
i have SO MUCH FABRIC!!!!
i swear i'm going to end up on the show hoarders...
thank god john is away at bootcamp bc i literally have a system of where to hop over piles to get to another room....
i told you it was a problem...
i knew when i ran into a wall and stubbed my toe while hopping over said piles that
maybe i should figure out something!!

i have one of those cube things from target which is great for normal fabrics that aren't all 
"lets slip and slide everywhere"
but for everything else it just pours out of that thing like hot lava...
plus i can't really see anything that is stored in their anyway...
i found fabric yesterday that i forgot i even bought 
***cough...hoarder...cough***

so if anyone has any fun ideas on how to store my fabric that is neat and organized, yet allows me to see what i have, then send them my way!

and luckily my search for black and white allowed me to find forgotten fabrics that was a great start to 
a new "classic" collection!!

mrd, arc, & pjp

so anyone that's ever been over to my place knows that i LOVE pics of myself.
i literally have a huge wall of pics of me...
ok it's not just me in all of them...
that would be a bit much...or would it??

and as much as i love seeing my face splashed all over the mrd site,
i actually LOVE seeing mrd's on someone else's pretty little head...
bc my head is actually quite large...in more ways than one;)




so lucky for me, my fave mrd model, ARC was having a mini shoot last weekend 
and i got to go hang out and see how a real model does it...
bc lets be honest for a sec...
i can rock the fun pics, but i cannot "smize" to save my life...
(that's smiling with just your eyes in model lingo)
i just end up looking angry and you can't be angry in a mrd!!!



i also got to finally meet the amazing sam from
she is the sweetest person ever and as you can see from these pics...
she is AMAZEBALLS!!


arc and i also got to sneak in a few pics of the two of us!
love that girl...she is definitely going places...
IN FACT...
she is LA right now and is going to rock the red carpet...
oops orange carpet...
at the kids choice awards this weekend!!!
and of course she'll be in her mrd's:)
hooray...can't wait to see those pics!!

mrd's for suri cruise...yep!



so some exciting things happening over in mrd land...
one super fab opportunity that i've had is making a custom mrd pretty for SURI CRUISE!!!
ahhhhhhhhhh.....totes craziness!!!!!!!!!
i mean, hello.....that girl is a total fashionista!!
and all of this is thanks to the amazing artisan group, who is putting together an amazing set of gifts for 
tom, katie, and suri and i was lucky enough to be chosen to include something special!


so i had to include a signature mrd flower right?  
suri's fave color is pink and her birthstone is a diamond....
so a gorgeous pink flower...
 made of organza's & chiffon's in pretty shades of pink...
and topped off with a rhinestone center
seemed like the perfect choice;)



and because suri's bday is next month
i added a pretty lil' leather bow band in her gift as well...
because why get one pretty when you can get two!!


so fingers crossed she loves her new mrd's!!
